Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid Remote)
Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000 per year + Commission
Overview
Exciting new curated entertainment operator that emphasizes social, playful, and interactive experiences is coming to Irvine, CA! We are seeking a fun, professional and hands-on Sales Manager to join the team. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function at the venue. This includes delivering a guest-centric experience for every function inquiry, achieving sales team targets, and driving business growth through effective revenue generation and lead development. The role requires strong relationship management, strategic sales execution, and collaboration with venue teams to ensure operational excellence. This is a Hybrid role with 3 days on-site and 2 days Remote per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming function inquiries across multiple channels, providing timely and accurate information.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by tailoring proposals and packages to client needs.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering repeat business and referrals.
- Generate new business through local area marketing, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Prepare accurate event orders, quotations, and contracts in line with company standards.
- Collaborate with venue operations, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
- Drive upselling opportunities to maximize revenue per booking and enhance client experience.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline records using CRM tools, providing updates on closing probabilities.
- Monitor competitor strategies and market trends to refine sales approaches.
- Handle customer feedback and escalate issues appropriately.
Objectives
- Achieve KPIs including revenue targets, conversion rates, lead generation, and average guest spend.
- Deliver prompt, professional communication and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, pricing structures, and health & safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings as needed to secure business.
- Prepare accurate budgets, reports, and client files for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a sales and/or events environment.
- Experience with hospitality, group bookings, or event sales strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience advantageous).
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
